Mr. Gammon was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.After graduating from Wayne State University in Detroit, Doug moved to Philadelphia and entered Temple Law School. During his stay in North Philly, Doug developed an interest in Immigration Law when he met his future wife, attending Temple's Dental School as an international student.
After graduating and passing the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Exams, Doug opened the first Public Interest Law firm in Southern New Jersey dedicated to serving the legal needs of people infected with HIV; the HIV Law Project of Southern New Jersey. During this time Doug represented HIV+ individuals, helping people obtain Social Security benefits, and pursuing claims against companies and individuals that discriminated against people with HIV. Doug also worked on green card applications with HIV+ individuals, helping them to prepare medical waivers allowing them to remain in the United States.
After a few years, Doug started as an associate in the Immigration department of Philadelphia law firm. After a few years of handling Immigration cases, Greg and Doug established the Immigration department of Greg Prosmushkin, PC. Over the last seven years, Greg Prosmushkin PC has helped thousands of individuals and businesses from around the world travel to the United States. Our clients hail from all five continents and are served by our multi lingual staff of paralegals and attorneys.
Doug focuses his practice on litigating matters in Immigration Courts around the country. He has represented hundreds of individuals in Immigration Court, and has also litigated Immigration cases in United States District Court as well as several Circuits of the United States Court of Appeals. Doug and his wife currently live in Southern New Jersey.
