Shannon Doman

Shannon Doman

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Shannon is a native of Upper Bucks County and continues to live there.  He graduated from Allegheny College in 1991 and The University of New Hampshire Law School in 1998.  Between college and law school, Shannon served a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kenya, where he helped supply local residents with clean water supplies.

After law school, Shannon served as law clerk to the Honorable David Heckler of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.  Shannon then became an associate at Post & Schell in their Workers’ Compensation department.  At Post & Schell he gained valuable experience at a trial attorney, appearing in court many times and conducting numerous depositions.

Shannon’s career then took an interesting turn when he accepted a position with the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative.  He travelled to the Former Soviet Republic of Kyrgyzstan where his job was to help the budding Kyrgyz Republic write new laws to replace their old Soviet era legal system.  After a year in Kyrgyzstan, he moved to neighboring Tajikistan where he did similar work for a State Department contractor.  Shannon’s final stop overseas was in the Republic of Georgia where his primary task was to assist the Georgian government in making post Soviet reforms, improving the business climate, and attracting foreign investment to Georgia.

Upon his return from Georgia, Shannon became an associate at Pietragallo, Gordon, , Alfano, Bosick & Raspanti.  There he resumed his career as a trial attorney in their Workers’ Compensation Department.  After more than a year with Pietragallo, Shannon opened his own practice in Bucks County where he focused on criminal defense, domestic matters, traffic, immigration  and workers’ compensation.  Shannon had his own practice for seven years before joining the attorneys at The Law Office of Greg Prosmushkin.

Here at the Law Office of Greg Prosmushkin, Shannon focuses his practice on immigration matters, primarily in removal defense and in workers’ compensation, where he defends the rights of injured workers.  Shannon also continues to represent clients in traffic and criminal matters, particularly in Bucks County as well as Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

Shannon is the father to two teenagers and is an avid skier and outdoorsman.
